Dietrich Mattausch
Dietrich Mattausch ( born April 26, 1940 in Leitmeritz, Reich District of Sudetenland ) is a German actor.
Life
Mattausch made after completion of the mean maturity trained as a shipping clerk and at the same time took private acting lessons. He began his career at the basement theater in Mainz.
In 1963 he played at Göttingen Youth Theatre, 1964/1966 on the comedy in Frankfurt am Main, 1966/1967 at the State Theatre Schleswig, 1968/1969 at the State Theatre Detmold, 1969 at Bruchsal State Theatre, 1969/70 at the Theater Baden -Baden, 1971 on the stages of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck and from 1972 to 1974 at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen.
From 1975 to 1979 he was engaged at the Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, where he performed under the direction of Peter Zadek. He embodied in Zadek productions Rodrigo in Othello ( 1976), Camillo in The Winter's Tale (1978), Brinan in the German premiere of Ayckbourns joking aside (1979) and Kenneth Lost in Time ( 1984) by John Hopkins. Other roles were Phileas Fogg in Jerome Savary In 80 days around the world (1978) and Cassius in Julius Caesar (1986 )
In 1979, he joined the Freie Volksbühne in Berlin, where he continued to work with Zadek. Here he played Philinte in the premiere of Enzensberger's Molière's Misanthrope (1979) and Vincentio / Hortensio in The Taming of the Shrew (1981).
1980/1981 he appeared at the Bavarian State Theatre in Munich as a doctor in August Strindberg's The Father and 1996/97 as president of Walter in Intrigue and Love.
Dietrich Mattausch starred in numerous television films and series. Great popularity and popularity earned him especially the long-standing role of the Lead Commissioner Rick in the ARD series The Investigator.
Mattausch married in 1999 his wife Annette and lives with his family and three children in Berlin.
