Digital Life Design

The Digital Life Design ( DLD ), the International Conference and Innovation Platform by Hubert Burda Media. DLD Media hosts the digital conference DLD and the Women's Conference DLDwomen and international network events like Palo Alto, New York, London, Tel Aviv, Istanbul, Rio de Janeiro and Beijing. On the conference content DLD Media produces publications, online and video formats, studies and advises DLD partner companies, start-ups, investors and institutions. Managing Director is Stephanie Czerny, who has the DLD Conference co-founded in 2005. The conference is next to the Paris LeWeb as the most important European conference for investors and Internet companies.

History

The conference is held annually in January and was first held in 2005. Managing Director of DLD Media and co-founder of the conference is Stephanie Czerny. DLD Media is a 100 percent subsidiary of Hubert Burda Media.

In 2013, the conference brought together 180 speakers next to some 800 invited guests. Persons without an invitation can apply on the website of the event. Meeting in Munich is the listed bank building in the Kardinal-Faulhaber -Strasse 1 (HVB Forum ). The conference can be followed online via a live stream.

The conference is climate neutral. All issues that arise due to the arrivals and departures of conference participants will be compensated with an investment in a climate protection project. The conference is held annually just before the World Economic Forum in Davos. Guests at the conference meet in Davos then the Burda DLD Nightcap.

Aenne Burda Award

In memory of the entrepreneurial and social commitment his mother Aenne Burda Hubert Burda 2006 donated the Aenne Burda Award, which each year as part of the DLD conference will be awarded to " successful young women in the media ".
