Dignāga

Dignaga (* 480, † 540) was an Indian logician. In addition to his teacher Vasubandhu and Dharmakirti Dignaga is one of the most influential authors of Pramana literature within the Mahayana Buddhism. The best-known works are his Dignagas Hetuchakra ( "Wheel of reasons " ) and his Pramanasamuccaya ( Tib: tshad ma kun btus las pa).
