Dilolo

Dilolo is a place at 1000 m in the Democratic Republic of Congo and a border crossing of the Benguela railway in Angola, so the transition between Société Nationale des Chemins de fer du Congo and Caminhos de Ferro de Angola, as well as a district of the province of Katanga in DR Congo.

The place Dilolo is impoverished since the closure of the Benguela railway in 1975. Even before the construction of the railway, this was called barren area " Hungry Country ". Inflation is very high, the supply of defective goods. The hopes therefore sit on the reopening of the Benguela railway in a few years.
