Dimitri Peters

Dimitri Peters ( born May 4, 1984 in Gljaden, Soviet Union ) is a German judoka who will compete in the weight category up to 100 kg.

Dimitri Peters was born in the Soviet Union and came to Germany in 1992. He began at the age of 11 years in Rotenburg judo. Since 2002, he trained in Hanover, where he also made a vocational training as an industrial mechanic. Since autumn 2006, Dimitri Peters is in the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr. In 2005, he won the title at the U-23 European Championships, a year later, he won the European Championships in 2006 in Tampere the bronze medal. At the European Championships 2011 in Istanbul Peters won a bronze medal with the team. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London Peters won the bronze medal.
