Dimitri Szarzewski

Dimitri Szarzewski ( born January 26, 1983 in Narbonne, Aude ) is a French rugby union player. He plays as a hooker for Racing Métro 92 and the French national team.

Szarzewski began his career with AS Béziers. In 2004 he moved to Paris club Stade Français. In the same year he celebrated his debut for the national team against Canada. His first attempt he put in the home match against South Africa in November 2005.

In 2007 Szarzewski succeeded with Stade Français winning the league title in the Top 14, the first French professional league. He was subsequently nominated for the 2007 World Cup in their own country, won fourth place in the France. At the World Cup 2011 in New Zealand Dimitri Szarzewski became vice world champion with his national team.
