Dimitrie Cuclin
Dimitrie Cuclin (born 24 Märzjul / April 5 1885greg in Galaţi, .. † February 7, 1978 in Bucharest ) was a Romanian composer.
Cuclin studied at the Conservatory of Bucharest and in Paris at Charles -Marie Widor and Vincent d' Indy. From 1922 to 1930 he worked as a music teacher in New York City, then as a teacher of composition, harmony and counterpoint at the Conservatory in Bucharest.
He composed six operas, twenty symphonies, an overture choir, chamber music, piano pieces and songs.
