Dimitrios Saravakos (Greek Δημήτριος Σαραβάκος, born July 29, 1961 in Athens, Greece ) is a former Greek football player.

Dimitrios Saravakos began his career with the Greek first division club Panionios Athens in which his father Athanasios Saravakos was already in the 1950s and 1960s under contract. In Panionios Dimitrios Saravakos came to a total of 142 missions, scoring 35 goals. In 1979 he won the Greek Cup club and eventually moved in the summer of 1984 to Panathinaikos Athens. In Saravakos Panathinaikos played for a decade (1984-1994) and became one of the most popular players in the club's history. In addition to three championships (1986, 1990, 1991 ) won Saravakos also six times the Greek Cup (1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1994). During this period Saravakos rose to become one of the most famous players of the Greek football history and drew attention to himself on the European stage. So it was that the top Italian club Juventus Turin at the beginning of the 1990s Panathinaikos an offer for the commitment of the player submitted. The former club president Athens G. Vardinogiannis refused, however, and so remained Saravakos a career abroad denied. In 1994 Saravakos after 239 games and 124 goals for Panathinaikos AEK Athens where he was able to win the cup in 1996 and 1997 repeated. In 1997, the players returned to Panathinaikos and finished his career there. In his entire career Saravakos came to 442 games in the top Greek league, scoring 184 goals.

Dimitrios Saravakos was for years an integral part of the Greek national football team. His international debut he gave on 1 December 1982 with a game against Switzerland. On 10 October 1991 Saravakos achieved the feat in a match against Egypt, which ended 6-1 to score five goals. In the national Saravakos maintained 78 inserts and 22 goals. Height of his national team career was his participation in the 1994 World Cup in the United States.

Dimitris Saravakos played in the position of striker and is regarded as one of the best Greek football player of all time.

Today Saravakos is a restaurateur and plays for the Greek Beach Soccer National Team.
