Dino Bruni

Dino Bruni ( born April 13, 1932 in Porto Maggiore, Italy ) is an Italian former racing cyclist. He was one of the best amateurs in the cycling of the fifties.

In 1950, Dino Bruni Italian masters was the offspring. 1952 Bruni won the silver medal at the Olympic Games the team time trial with Gianni Ghidini and Vincenzo Zucconelli. In road races on the same 190.4 km long course he could run over the finish line in fifth. In 1955 he was third of the world road championship, which was held this year in Italy. He had to admit defeat in the amateurs only his two compatriots Sante Ranucci and Lino Grassi and came as a soloist with 1:42 minutes down on the winner. He gave a purely Italian podium his home country a great triumph. A year later -1956 - he won two stages of the Peace Race.
