Diocese of Central Europe
The Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Central Europe ( Serbian Cyrillic Епархија Средњоевропска ) is a diocese ( eparchy ) of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
Bishopric since 1978 Hildesheim Himmelsthür, with the Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God as the Cathedral Church of the Most Holy Mother of God and the monastery. Bishop since 1 September 1991, Constantine ( Đokić ).
The diocese comprises the Serbian Orthodox Church in Germany and managed to 2011, the Serbian Orthodox Church in Austria and the Serbian Orthodox Church in Switzerland. With the establishment of the Diocese of Austria - Switzerland 2010/2011 in Vienna, the Alpine countries were removed from the jurisdiction of the diocese.
