Diocese of Oslo

The diocese of Oslo (Oslo bispedømme ) is the jurisdiction of the state Evangelical Lutheran Church of Norway for the municipalities Oslo, Asker and Bærum. It was founded in 1070. The diocese is divided into seven deaneries and 73 parishes. Bishop of Oslo since 2005, Ole Christian Kvarme.
