Dion Beebe
Dion Beebe ( born 1968 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia) is an Australian cinematographer.
Life
From 1988 to 1990 Dion Beebe attended the Australian Film Television and Radio School in Sydney, where he was enrolled as a student of cinematography.
Subsequently he worked as a cinematographer and director for music videos. In 1992 he made his film debut as a cinematographer with the film Crush.
In 2006 he was awarded for his work on The Geisha with the Oscar. He also won this his second British Academy Film Award. The first he had got together with Paul Cameron in 2005 for Collateral. In 2009, he won a Satellite Award for his contribution to Nine.
Beebe is married.
