Dionex

The Dionex Corporation ( NASDAQ: DNEX ), also briefly Dionex, is an American technology company based in Sunnyvale ( California). The company develops, manufactures, sells and services chromatography and extraction systems and database management systems for the pharmaceutical industry and environmental technology, life science and biotechnology. Production locations and subsidiaries is also available in Germany (including Softron Dionex GmbH). Since 2011, Dionex is part of Thermo Fisher Scientific group.

History

The precursor of Dionex Corporation was founded in 1975 as a manufacturer of ion chromatography products. 1998, based in Germering near Munich Softron GmbH and was taken with it, the German manufacturer Gynkotek HPLC and the data system Chromeleon. The end of 2010 it was announced that Thermo Fisher Scientific Dionex takes over for nearly 1.6 billion euros. Since May 17, 2011 Dionex is officially a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific group.
