Dionysios Kasdaglis

Dionysios Kasdaglis (Greek Διονύσιος Κάσδαγλης, born October 10, 1872 in Salford, † 1931) was a Greek- Egyptian tennis player.

Kasdaglis was the only Egyptian participants. He went to Greece. He made it in two tennis competitions, singles and doubles to reach the final. In individual be way over Defert from France, Konstantinos Akratopoulos led from Greece and Momcsilló Tapavicza from Hungary to the finals, where he lost to John Pius Boland of Great Britain and Ireland. The medal was credited Greece in the medals table.

In doubles up Kasdaglis teamed up with Demetrios Petrokokkinos from Greece. The two defeated the Greek Konstantinos double Paspatis and Evangelos Rallis and later the British-Australian pair George Stuart Robertson and Edwin Flack in the semifinals. In the final Kasdaglis lost again against Boland, which formed a double together with the German Friedrich Adolph Traun.

Dionysios Kasdaglis is the brother of Xenophon Kasdaglis.
