Diósgyőr

Diósgyor [ di.o ː ʒɟø ː r] is a historic city in northeastern Hungary. 1945 were pooled Miskolc, Hejőcsaba and Diósgyor, characterized today Nagy- Miskolc was (wholesale Miskolc ).

The medieval castle Diósgyor, which was first mentioned in 1271, is now the main attraction of the district, where about 60,000 people live.

The football club Diósgyőri VTK, founded in 1910, currently playing in the first Hungarian League, the Borsodi Liga.
