Direct Action is an American action movie starring Dolph Lundgren in the lead role.

Action

The police veteran Frank Gannon wants to quit his job at the Direct Action Task Force of the Los Angeles Police Department after many years. With an inexperienced colleague Billie Ross stands before him one last night. He observed how corrupt colleagues negotiate with Afghan drug dealers. He then decides to take action against police corruption and testify in a corruption committee. As his colleagues it is clear that they can not change his mind, they try to kill the corruption committee during his last layer before the deadline.

Background

The film appeared in a G -18 version and an abridged to 2:10 PM -16 version. The film received mostly bad reviews, its evaluation in the IMDB in April 2008 was at 4.8 ( out of 10).
