Direkte Aktion

The Direct Action (DA ) is a published since 1977 newspaper based union -free workers 'and Workers' Union ( FAU). It is published in a bi-monthly rhythm. She currently appears with 16 pages in the Berliner format.

The " Direct action " is under the headings "Operating and Society", " background ", " Global ", " slow motion" and "Culture" organized. In these current economic developments are analyzed from an employee perspective and reports of class struggle disputes, including labor disputes published. A special feature is the so-called " social-revolutionary crossword " which appears on the last page.

The editors and editors of direct action are elected at the annual congress of the FAU, usually for a period of two years. Since they are as usual in the FAU, equipped with an imperative mandate, they are the organization not only accountable, but can always be voted out. Because there is no exempt or paid officials at the FAU, the editorial collective works for free.

Predecessor newspapers were the Unity of Free Association of German Trade Unions ( until 1914 ), The Syndicalist the Free Workers Union of Germany ( until 1932 ) and the free society of the Federation libertarian socialists (up to 1953).

The newspaper cooperates with the internet portal Linksnet. In September 2011, a first article in the direct action appeared there.
