Dirk Bremser

Dirk Bremser ( born October 1, 1965 in Bochum ) is a former German football player and current football coach.

Career

Brakeman began his career at VfL Bochum, whose Bundesliga squad he belonged until 1987. For the season 1987/88 he moved to third division side Preußen Münster, which he ascended in 1988 in the 2nd Bundesliga. In 1990, a brakeman for the Liga rivals MSV Duisburg, with which he managed the rise in the 1990/91 season in the Bundesliga. Since there he missed the league in 1992, he moved to Bayer 05 Uerdingen, with whom he but once again relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga. He then played four years with Hertha BSC in the 2. After the rise in the 1996/97 season he left Hertha BSC and played with VfB Lübeck and Holstein Kiel for three years in the regional league, before he ended his career.

For the season 2000/ 01 brakeman was assistant coach of VfB Lübeck Uwe Erkenbrecher. After his release in November 2000 brakeman worked until March 2001 as coach of VfB Lübeck, before he moved into second place after the signing of Dieter Hecking. In the summer of 2004 he moved with Hecking to Alemannia Aachen. After the change of Dieter Hecking for Hannover 96, he worked on as interim coach and coached the team in the DFB Pokal match against FC Chemnitz. After Alemannia Aachen announced the signing of Michael Frontzeck as Hecking successor brakeman left the club. From September 2006 to August 2009 brakeman working as an assistant coach at Hanover 96 Hecking, assisted after Hecking successor Andreas Bergmann the and then had on 20 January 2010 to give way to new coaching team to Mirko Slomka. As of February 7, 2010, the obligation brakeman was announced as assistant coach of the 1st FC Nuremberg. 1 January 2013, he joined as an assistant coach at VfL Wolfsburg. He followed it, " his boss " Dieter Hecking a second time to now a total of five common station.
