Dirty Pretty Things (Band)

Dirty Pretty Things were a British music group The Libertines Carl Barât members and Gary Powell.

Band History

The Dirty Pretty Things consisted of the members Carl Barât (vocals, guitar), Gary Powell (drums ), and Didz Hammond ( bass), and Anthony Rossomando ( guitar). They were in 2005 by Carl Barat, Gary Powell and Anthony Rossomando, who represented at concerts Pete Doherty at the end of the Libertines on guitar, was founded. Didz Hammond is a former member of The Cooper Temple Clause.

The debut single, Bang Bang You're Dead, reached number 5 in the UK Top 40 in May 2006; the same month, their first album, Waterloo To Anywhere has been released. The DVD includes live performances by the band in London, Paris and Rome as well as making- of videos.

Actually, they should occur in 2006 as a support of the Swedish rock band Mando Diao in Germany, but they had to cancel all appointments Germany until further notice. They were replaced by Razorlight. Mando Diao toured in the same year, however, as the opening act for Dirty Pretty Things by Britain.
