Disclosure (Band)
Disclosure is a British Dancepopduo from Surrey consisting of the brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence.
Biography
The parents of the two brothers played in bands themselves, and so heard and played it at an early age music. Later they began to be interested in the Dubstep music. Howard and his three years younger brother Guy started in 2009 to produce their own music on the home computer. Offline Dexterity was in 2010 her first single. They had quick success in London clubs and were engaged for SBTRKT as the opening act.
Her first big success was in 2012, the song latch with the soul singer Sam Smith, with whom she made it to England in the Top 40.
Her first studio album Settle appeared in June 2013 and reached number 1 in the UK album charts.
Their style of music has many elements from the various UK garage subcultures, such as relatively large number of beats per minute, the Drum and Bass, Jungle and Dancehall music similar baselines, cooperation with 2step and Speed Garage singers and syncopated beat structures associated with the ease of house music.
