Dissemination ( " sow " from Latin disseminare; adjective: disseminated ) is best described as " spread " or " sowing " translated.

When a pathological process, the wide distribution of disease symptoms or pathogens in an organ (system) or throughout the body is referred to as dissemination. An example is the Multiple Sclerosis described also disseminated encephalomyelitis.
