Divec

Divec ( German Diwetz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers north-east of the city center on the outskirts of Hradec Králové and belongs to Okres Hradec Králové.

Geography

Divec is located on the right side of the eagle on the High Brucker panel. To the south rises the hill in the forest Dehetník Spálenik (284 m). In the north the valley of the creek is Librantický. To the west runs the state road 308 from Hradec Králové by Bohuslavice.

Neighboring towns are Černilov in the north, Dolni Černilov and Horni Černilov in the northeast, Borek and Librantice in the east, in the southeast Nepasice, Blešno and Svinary in the south, and Koš Slatina in the southwest and Rusek and Bukovina in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village was carried out in 1306 during the time of Queen Elizabeth widow Richza in the course of a trial of heretics residents of Divec. In 1417, the village was partly owned by Hynek of Cervena Lhota, another portion belonged to the monastery Opatovice. Around 1450, bought by Peter Adersbach the village. After Nicholas III. Trček had bought in 1500 Divec of Lipa in the year, he hit the village to his rule Smiřice. The Smiřický of Smiřice sold the village in 1550 to Aleš Rodovský of Hustiřany. Other owners were the Hrušovský of Hrušov Mikuláš Bořek Dohalský, Zikmund Mladota of Solopisk Jan Hamza of Zábědovice and from 1631 Adam Erdmann Trček of Lipa, who joined the goods back to Smiřice.

After the abolition of patrimonial Divec formed in 1850 a municipality in the district of Hradec Králové. 1877, the village school was built. In 1900 there was Divec from 43 houses and had 245 inhabitants. In 1947 the school was closed. Between 1949 and 1960 the village belonged to Okres Hradec Králové - okolí. Since the beginning of 1961 they came back to Okres Hradec Králové. The former school became the seat of Ortnationalauschusses and the local library. In 1971, the incorporation of Divec after Černilov. The school was then used as a magazine of the District Archives Hradec Králové. In 1992, the municipality Divec arose again. The old school was torn down in the 1990s.
