Divertimento

As divertimento (Italian: pleasure, plural: Divertimenti ) refers to a multi-movement instrumental piece. This usually has an entertaining and joyful to dance-like character and is played in a different occupation as " Tafelmusik " ​​or "open-air music ". By the end of the 18th century, the Divertimento was at European courts widespread and popular.
