Diving at the 2011 Pan American Games
At the Pan American Games 2011 in Guadalajara, Mexico, a total of eight competitions were held in the water jumping from 26 to 29 November 2011, four for women and men.
The Mexican athletes dominated the competition and won all eight competitions. They also came for the maximum possible number of twelve medals. Total won athletes from six different nations medals. The Canadian and U.S. athletes, the competitions in the water jumping dominated in the previous Pan American Games, were unconvincing. In all four individual events with the winners could win quota places for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. However, since had already qualified for the World Cup every victorious athlete, no quota places were ultimately awarded.
