Diving watch

The diver's watch is a waterproof and pressure resistant watch (waterproof to 20 atm ( ≙ 200 m water depth) and more). It is used to measure the dive time and is equipped for this purpose with a rotating bezel, with which one marks the start time of the dive. For security reasons, the bezel can only be turned anti-clockwise. In times of dive computer the classic diving watch is now more a fashion accessory and luxury object and is used for diving as the primary display basically no longer needed. However, they can take over the function of a backup instrument.
