DJ Hell

DJ Hell or Hell (real name Helmut Josef Geier, born September 6, 1962 in Altenmarkt an der Alz ) is a German techno DJ and producer. Bright is the founder and owner of International Deejay Gigolos, a German record label for electronic music.

Career

Little is known about Hells musical beginnings. According to his own statements, he found himself one day with friends as an instrumentalist with 1980s - Electro musicians again. Since 1983 he worked as a DJ; only in Libella Club, Club Troy ( Altötting ), then in Munich at the park cafe, ARG, dance hall megalomania and various other Munich clubs and halls. Finally Over New Wave, EBM, electro and hip -hop he came to house and techno.

As of 1991, Bright was active in the environment by Peter Wachas label Disko B. His first self-produced single (My Definition of House Music, on R & S) became a club hit. In 1993 he moved to Berlin and worked for the record store Hard Wax. In 1994, appeared on Disko B Hells debut album Tarred & feathered. Later, he lived for a short time in New York and eventually returned to Bavaria.

In addition to his work as a DJ in 1996, he founded his label International Deejay Gigolos. Stylistically, the music in Electro, House, Tech House and Techno should be classified, with influences from 80s pop and disco. This label is known quantities of techno, house and electro scene like Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Tiga, Fischerspooner, Johannes Heil, Sven Väth, Miss Kittin, Anthony Rother and Laurent Garnier worked together. Bright contributed significantly in the 80's revival of the German and international club scene. From 2000, he ran for several years, the nightclub Villa in Traunstein Bavaria.

Since 2005, vulture lives back in Berlin. From 2007 to 2010 DJ Hell put regularly on the after-show parties by Michael Michalsky 's StyleNite during the Berlin Fashion Week.

As a DJ, touring Hell for years by cities in all parts of the world. Private vulture has a license as a football coach, and is a major sponsor of his home club in the Old Market.

DJ Hell also supports the feminist action group FEMEN.

Club nights

DJ Hell heard, just like Sven Väth, to the ranks of famous DJs, which hang headlining the whole club night.
