DJ Kayslay

DJ Kayslay ( born August 16, 1966, the name Keith Grayson ) is an American DJ and radio presenter from the district of Harlem in New York. He is also known under the pseudonyms The Drama King Kay Slay and as a graffiti artist under dec.

Career

Kay Slay grew up with his grandparents in El Barrio in East Harlem. The late seventies, Grayson began to paint under the pseudonym Deezy December Graffiti in New York. At this time the new style of music hip-hop evolved in New York. Under his pseudonym December Grayson is represented, among others, in the film Style Wars and in the graffiti book Subway Art.

Grayson looked at Roddy Woodson, with whom he was friends for the first time how to deal with turntables and amplifiers. Kayslay began DJing under the name DJ KG. After the musicians had retired some time later from the music business, he changed his pseudonym DJ Kay Slay, had taken over as first pseudonym in the meantime, the Naughty -By -Nature - member DJ Kay Gee Grayson.
