DJ Magic Mike

DJ Magic Mike ( born January 1, 1974 in Orlando, Florida; actually Michael Hampton) is an American Miami bass music producer.

Biography

DJ Magic Mike came to Miami Bass, as he gave the producer Rod Whitehead came to know from the Prime Time Crew 1986. He then took to a meeting with Rod and the label responsible of Suntown Records with his demo version of Drop the bass. This pleased the participants. Then Rod Whitehead wanted to win him as a DJ and producer for his upcoming projects in the Miami-based label Suntown Records. But when Magic Mike the offer considered by Suntown Records, he suggested it after careful consideration, and so the project has already begun remained unfinished.

In 1988, he joined instead Clay D and helped this in the production of his album. When Mike felt betrayed and felt underpaid, he returned to Orlando, where he joined the newly founded label Cheetah Records joined. Published in 1989, DJ Magic Mike, together with the Royal Posse his first release, which has sold more than 1 million times. A year later, he published about Cheetah Records his first album entitled Bass Is The Name Of The Game. This album is now regarded as the first instrumental release that could reap as such gold status.

Because of his 14 albums in the account, all of which were successful, with very few exceptions, and they went either platinum or gold, DJ Magic Mike is called by critics as a pioneer of the bass ' and sometimes referred to as King of bass.

On 11 December 2007 published the pioneer of Bass' new album in MP3 format, which consists of two audio DVDs and contains a total of eight complete albums from the past.
