DJ Muggs

DJ Muggs ( born January 28, 1968 New York City borough of Queens, civil Lawrence Muggerud ) is an American DJ and producer of the hip-hop group Cypress Hill.

Life

Muggs is Italian-American origin, grew up in New York City. His surname is Norwegian Muggerud. At first he was a member of the group 7A3, but their music label terminated the collaboration after the first publication. His second group Cypress Hill, is in charge of the musical at the Muggs, however, one of the most influential hip-hop groups of the '90s was. Muggs also joined on as a solo artist and he worked with the British rapper Tricky. In addition, he produced albums for House of Pain and Funkdoobiest and songs for artists such as Ice Cube, KRS -One, Eminem and MC Eiht. DJ Muggs founded in 1992, the artist collective Soul Assassins, which unite musicians from the environment of Cypress Hill and printmaker. Since 2004, Muggs hosts a radio show on Sirius Shade 45 called " Mash -Up Radio".

2001 Muggs became a father.

The The Grand Master LP is one of two first editions of the newly founded record label Angeles Records in 2005, DJ Muggs and of the hip-hop duo Self Scientific. On 11 September 2007 was released on Rebel Music Group, another collabo album by DJ Muggs. This time he had teamed up with Sick Jacken of Psycho Realm.
