Djamal Mahamat

Jamal Mohammed Abdoulaye Bindi (Arabic: جمال محمد بيندي; born April 26, 1983 in Tripoli) is a Libyan footballer who plays for Portuguese club SC Braga since June 2011.

Career

Association

After Jamal Mohammed played three years in the youth team of Alma Halla Tripoli, in 2001, he moved to Portugal for SC Salgueiros. After 39 league operations, he moved to France in 2003 where Mohammed played at the amateur clubs Stade Montois, Aviron Bayonnais and Entente Sannois Saint- Gratien.

In the season 2006/ 07 he returned to Portugal and moved to GD Estoril Praia. After he played 24 league games this season and scored a goal, his contract was not renewed in Praia and so Mohammed was from July 2007 to club search. In November 2007, he graduated from tryouts at Hartlepool United and Bradford City, which ended unsuccessfully. In the summer of 2008 he returned to Portugal and signed a contract with the second division side SC Beira -Mar. After he came to only 15 league appearances in the first season, he was promoted in the following season for a regular player.

In the 2009/10 season, he not only managed the leap into the starting lineup, but increased with Beira- Mar on in the Liga Sagres. On 15 August 2010, he was 0-0 against União Leiria his debut in the Portuguese top. At the end of the season 2010/11 Beira -Mar managed though the league, however, came in May 2011, the rumor that the SC Braga was interested in a commitment of Muhammad. On 1 June, the transfer was confirmed Mohammed was transferred for a fee of one million euros to Braga, where he signed a four year contract.

His debut in the dress of SC Braga he played 13 August 2011 in a 0-0 draw against Rio Ave FC. In his first season his team finished in third place behind champions FC Porto and Benfica. Mohammed came into this season on 18 league games, but remained without a goal.

National

In 2010 he was nominated for the Libyan national football team coach Marcos Paquetá first time. During the African Cup of Nations 2012 in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, he belonged to the 23- man squad Libya and completed all three group games over the full distance.
