Djaniny

Jorge Tavares Semedo Djaniny or short Djaniny ( born March 21, 1991, Santa Cruz ) is a Cape Verde footballer who plays for Nacional Funchal since the summer of 2013.

Career

Association

Djaniny played in his youth at Scorpions Vermelho de Santa Cruz, before emigrating in 2009 with 18 years to Portugal to study. Shortly after his arrival in Portugal he went to DG Velense a local club from the area around Angra do Heroismo. After he scored a total of 50 goals in two seasons, he moved on 18 July 2011 as the first division team União Leiria, where he signed a two -year contract. His debut in the Portuguese top, he completed on 21 August over the full season in the 1-2 defeat against FC Paços de Ferreira. On October 30, his first goal of the season finally came against Vitória Setúbal, and a week later he was successful against Sporting Lisbon.

In January 2012 Djaniny moved to Benfica, but was for the B- team undertakes, which plays in the Segunda Liga. However, after only two appearances and one goal he was loaned on 31 August 2012 for one year at the first division club SC Olhanense. For Olhanense he debuted on Matchday 4 of the season 2012/13 in the 0-1 defeat against Vitória Setúbal.

On July 16, 2013 Djaniny ended his contract with Benfica and joining Nacional Funchal, with Benfica still owns the rights transfer.

National

Djaniny was nominated for the first time for an international match of the Cape Verde National Team in 2011. His debut he graduated but only on 2 June 2012 in the 1-2 defeat against Sierra Leone. In his third international game he could be happy in a 3-1 victory over Madagascar with the interim 2-0 on his first international goal. In the second round of qualifying for the African Cup of Nations 2013, the Cape Verde Islands managed the sensation and defeated favorites from Cameroon to return game. 2-0 first leg victory Djaniny was instrumental in it with a gate.

With this victory, he qualified his team to the finals of the Africa Cup Djaniny and was nominated for the final squad. Even in the final round, he knew his team to persuade and sat down in a group with South Africa, Angola and Morocco as group runners through. The quarterfinal match against Ghana, however, was lost with 0:2.
