Djimi Traoré
Djimi Traoré ( born March 1, 1980 in Saint- Ouen, France) is a French- Malian football player who played for the French first division club Olympique Marseille.
Career
Traoré first professional club was Stade Laval. In 1999, the left-back for the first time for Liverpool FC. In 2001 he went back to France for RC Lens. Since the beginning of the 2002/ 03 Traore played it at Liverpool.
In summer 2009, he moved to AS Monaco, where he was equal to the regulars. In the winter of 2010, he retired to a cruciate ligament injury and thus fell the rest of the season.
After his contract and the descent of the AS Monaco leak in the Ligue 2, he moved to Olympique Marseille free transfer. There he spent two seasons without being able to earn a regular place and left the club in the summer of 2012.
Traore has played six times for the national football team of Mali.
