Djurgårdsbrunnsviken is an elongated bay of the Baltic Sea, which stretches far into the urban area of Stockholm.

In the West Djurgårdsbrunnsviken is limited by the bridge Djurgårdsbron and to the east it merges into the Djurgården. The bay lies between the Östermalm district in the north and the island of Djurgården in the south.

To the Djurgårdsbrunnsviken are some interesting buildings and equipment. In the south, on Djurgården is the open air museum Skansen, north on the Östermalms page are more museums such as the Museum of Technology ( Tekniska Museet ) and the Maritime Museum ( Sjöhistoriska museet ), as well as the exclusive residential area diplomat Staden, the diplomatic district of Stockholm.

During the Summer Olympics in 1912, the rowing and swimming competitions were on the Djurgårdsbrunnsviken discharged and in 1930, the pavilions of the exhibition in Stockholm at the north and south shores of the bay were built.
