DK Bongos

DK Bongos (Japaneseタルコンガ, Tarukonga, dt " Conga Drum " ) are an input device for Nintendo's GameCube game console. By design, they are inspired by real bongos and congas. The two drums are of different size, as is the case with traditional bongos, but not as high and large as congas.

DK Bongos have in each of the two drums a sensor that detects when you hit the corresponding drum surface, and a microphone that detects the clapping (or other loud noises in the immediate vicinity). There is also a " start" button.

Games

DK Bongos were originally developed for the music game Donkey Konga in which they were supplied. They can also be purchased separately.

The following games use the DK Bongos as an input device:

Also planned was the use of bongos in the Pinball game Odama and in the racing game DK: Bongo Blast.
