Dm-Arena

The Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center is a fairground in Rheinstetten - Forchheim near Karlsruhe to align national and international trade and public fairs and large events.

The Messe Karlsruhe is from the Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH ( KMK) operated that also maintains the Karlsruhe Congress Centre in the center of Karlsruhe and the Karlsruhe Europe.

Among the events held here include the art fair Art Karlsruhe, the exhibition of Applied Arts EUNIQUE, the Regional Fair Offerta, the fair for professional education, learning and IT Learntec and Commercial Vehicles Fair NUFAM. Used Machines fair resale took place in Karlsruhe until 2010.

Since 2011 Jalsa Salana is held annually the Germany of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, with over 30,000 visitors in the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center.

Equipment

The exhibition center has four column-free exhibition halls à 12,500 m², including the dm arena a multifunctional hall for up to 14,000 visitors. The size of the halls is 162,50 m x 74,50 m. The building height is 17.00 m (dm -arena: 22,00 m). The hall area is 52,000 m² of exhibition space in the outdoor area of 10,000 m².

At the main entrance there are visitor reception and registration, press center, service center and exhibition - congress center for up to 1,500 people, exhibition shop, restaurant and cafe. It is a multimedia Visitor Information System.

Transport links

The fairgrounds in Rheinstetten - Forchheim here is on the four-lane federal highway 36, just a few kilometers away from the motorways A 5, A 8 and A 65. There are 4,500 parking spaces available.

From ICE node Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof you reach the fairgrounds with the Stadtbahn Karlsruhe in just under half an hour. The stop of the line S2 is, Forchheim Fair / Leichtsandstraße. For certain events a fair - Express buses ( line M ) can be used from the main station.
