Dmitri Semin

Dmitri Konstantinovich Syomin (Russian: Дмитрий Константинович Сёмин; born August 14, 1983 in Moscow, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with Avangard Omsk in the Continental HK Hockey League since 2010.

Career

Dmitri Syomin began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at HK Spartak Moscow, for its first team he was active from 1999 to 2006 in the Super League, as well as second-rate Wysschaja league. From 2006 to 2009 he played for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, first in the Super League and from the 2008/09 season in the Kontinental Hockey League newly established. With Yaroslavl he was defeated in 2008 and 2009 respectively in the final of the Russian league title or the Gagarin Cup.

The 2009/10 season spent Syomin at Atlant Mytischtschi. He then moved within the KHL for Avangard Omsk HK.

Internationally

For Russia Syomin took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2001. In this he was world champion with his team. For this success he contributed one goal and four assists in six games.
