Dmitri Minajewitsch Sinodi - Popov (Russian: Дмитрий Минаевич Синоди - Попов, scientific transliteration Dmitry Minaevič Sinodi - Popov, * 1855 in Taganrog, † 1910 in Paris) was a Russian painter of Greek descent. End of the 70s, the artist returned to Taganrog, where he combined work independently with further training and a lot painted. Most of his drawings from the Taganrog Picture Gallery created between 1870 and the beginning of the 20th century. They form a significant part of his graphic heritage. Expressive found by the artist Greeks types are: " The portrait of the doctor Divaris ", " The Greeks boy ." Particularly interesting is the drawing from the 1870s, " The ancient Greeks ».

Masterly are the graphite drawings of the Bible motives " Madonna and Child ", " Golgotha ​​", " Ascension ", " Archangel Gabriel". Some go back to the classic pattern. For all its apparent traditionalism is the leaf " Golgotha ​​" particularly original.

The artist was inspired by the genre painting: " When embroidering ," " The Girl with the flour sifter ." The most interesting observations he fixed with the precise pencil: "The car with the household ", " boats and men ", " The city street ."

A group of drawings that capture fleeting impressions, stands out from the others, " Two heads of children ", " The head of a young woman ."
