Dmitri Vishnevsky

Dmitri Olegovich Vishnevsky (Russian: Дмитрий Олегович Вишневский; born January 30, 1990 in Bogatischtschewo, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Dynamo Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League since December 2011.

Career

Dmitri Vishnevsky began his career as a hockey player with the HK Rus Moscow, before he moved to the youth department of the HK Spartak Moscow in 2007. For the second team, he was from 2007 to 2009 in the third-tier league Perwaja active. In parallel, the defender was in the course of the 2008/09 season his debut for the Kontinental Hockey League newly established. In his rookie year he was no points in 19 games and received six penalty minutes.

From the 2009/10 season was Vishnevsky regular player in the KHL team of HK Spartak Moscow, but was still parallel operations in the junior team of the Association, the MHK Spartak in the Molodjoschnaja Hockey League. On 22 December 2011, he moved within the KHL to city rivals OHK Dynamo, with whom he won the 2012 Gagarin Cup.
