Dmitry Vorobyov

Dmitry Sergeyevich Vorobyov (Russian: Дмитрий Сергеевич Воробьёв; born October 18, 1985 in Togliatti, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player standing since November 2013 in Vladivostok Admiral in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Dmitri Vorobyov began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the HK Lada Togliatti, for its first team to 2008 he was active from 2003 in the Russian Super League. In the season 2004/ 05 the defender with his team was runner-up in the following season he won with the HK Lada at European level the IIHF Continental Cup. For the season 2008/09 HK Lada Togliatti was inducted into the newly formed Continental Hockey League. Shortly before the end of the season he moved within the League Salavat Yulaev Ufa to, but for which he only played five games before he spent the following season at HK Dynamo Moscow.

In the 2010/11 season Vorobyov stood for the SKA St. Petersburg in the KHL on the ice. In parallel, he played two games for their farm team Petersburg HK WMF Santa in Wysschaja Hockey League, the Russian second division. For the 2011/12 season, the Russian Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod has been committed.

In January 2012 Badjukow returned to the SKA and completed for this until the end of 2012/ 13 68 KHL games, before 2013 Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod was issued in May 2013 Junior for an option in the KHL Draft. In August of the same year he left Torpedo again after him, the club had traded against Pawel Walentenko from HK Avangard Omsk. A few months later, he was part of a swap again when he was handed over to Admiral Vladivostok in November 2013. In return, Anton Poleschtschuk moved to Omsk.

Internationally

For Russia Worobjow took part in the junior level only at the U20 Junior World Championship 2005, where he won the silver medal with his team. In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the World Championships in 2008, when he became World Champion with Russia as well as in the years 2006, 2007 and 2008 in the Euro Hockey Tour.
