Dmitry Zatonsky

Dmitri Viktorovich Satonski (Russian: Дмитрий Викторович Затонский; born March 30, 1971 in Novosibirsk, Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player, who in his active period from 1993 to 2007 among others for Lada Togliatti HK, HK Sibir Novosibirsk, Omsk Avangard HK Salavat Yulaev Ufa and has played in the Russian Super League.

Career

Dmitri Satonski began his career as a hockey player in the 1993/94 season in the Russian Super League at HK Lada Togliatti, with whom he was in his rookie year immediately CIS champion. After the success he left the club and signed with their league rivals HK Sibir Novosibirsk, for which he was on the ice the next three years. From 1997 to 2006, the attackers played for Avangard Omsk to HK, with whom he was in 2001 and 2006 runner-up, and in the season 2003/ 04 Champion of Russia. At European level, the links Sagittarius Avangard Omsk won the 2005 IIHF European Champions Cup, after being defeated in the final Kärpät Oulu in the Finnish SM- liiga. In the 2004/05 season was the winger also with 23 goals the best scorer in the main round of Super League. His career ended Satonski after the 2006/07 season with Salavat Yulaev Ufa, for in the Super League he was only twice on the ice. He also came in his last season on four inserts in their second team in the third-class Perwaja league.

Internationally

For Russia Satonski participated in the 2002 World Cup, where he took second place with his team.
