Dmitry Zelenin

Dmitry Vadimovich Selenin (Russian: Дмитрий Вадимович Зеленин; born November 27, 1962 in Moscow ) is a Russian politician.

Selenin was from December 2003 to June 2011 Governor of Tver Oblast. From 1996 to 2002 he worked at the executive level of the nickel producer Norilsk Nickel.

In October 2010, he caused a stir when he posted on his Twitter account photos of a salad, which supposedly Federal President Christian Wulff was served. On recording an earthworm was seen. Sergei Prikhodko, foreign policy advisor to President Dmitry Medvedev urged him then to resign.
