Dmytro Baranovskyy

Dmytro Baranowskyj (Ukrainian Дмитро Барановський, English transcription Dmytro Baranovskyy, . Born July 28, 1979) is a Ukrainian long- distance runner who specializes in the marathon.

In 2003, he was fifth at the Frankfurt Marathon 2005 he occupied the same place at the Hamburg Marathon. In the same year came the breakthrough in the Fukuoka Marathon, which he won with the Ukrainian national record of 2:08:29.

In 2006, he was third at the Vienna City Marathon and improved in Fukuoka second behind Haile Gebrselassie his record to 2:07:15.
