Dønna

Dønna is a commune in Helgeland in northern Norway Nordland.

Dønna borders the municipalities Alstahaug, Herøy Leirfjord, Lurøy and Nesna. Covering an area of 194 km ² live 1416 inhabitants ( as of March 31, 2013). The administrative center is Solfjellsjøen.

The largest islands in the municipality are Dønna (135 km ²), Løkta ( 17.4 km ²), Vandve ( 5.8 km ²) and Slapøya.
