Do No Harm (TV series)

Do No Harm is an American television series starring Steven Pasquale in the lead role. The first broadcast took place on NBC on 23 January 2013. However, the series on February 9, 2013, two days after the airing of the second episode, was deposed by the transmitter due to the miserable audience. The finale of the series was transmitted on 7 September 2013.

Action

Jason Cole is a brilliant neurologist, whose life seems to be perfect. However, Cole has also another side to him. He has grappled with a personality disorder, as a result he always night to Ian Pirce, the exact opposite of him is. Over the years, Cole has stunned their joint body with a mixture of different drugs. He noticed One night, however, that his body has developed an immunity to these drugs. He tried to suppress his second personality. However, this brings devastating impact on his career and his personal life with him.

The series is a modern variant of the novella The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of the Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson. After ordering a pilot episode in January 2012, NBC Do No Harm gave along with Infamous and later broadcast as Deception, green light for a first season. In November 2012, the episode number was reduced from 13 to 12.

The broadcast of the first episode on January 31, 2013, the previous time slot of Emergency Room - The emergency room. However, the sequence of only 3.12 million viewers was seen, reaching a target rating of 0.9, but this was unacceptable to the NBC. As the viewership of the series fell in the second episode to 2.2 million viewers and a rating of 0.7, NBC announced two days later the cancellation of the series known.

The remaining ten episodes were always sent on Saturdays between 29 June and 7 September 2013.

Reception

Loryn Pröschke of Serienjunkies.de described the idea of Do No Harm as " pretty exciting," but remains " the implementation [ ... ] this voltage some guilty." Positive is, however, " that Steven Pasquale as though Jason is a real bore, but when Ian can create a captivating comedy and viciousness of the day ".
