Do or Die (Dropkick Murphys album)

Do or Die is the first studio album by the Dropkick Murphys. It was released in 1998 and is the only album on which Mike McColgan, a founding member and former front man is heard, before this fireman at the Boston Fire Department was, but then again returned to music and the Street Dogs founded.

Reception

Allmusic gave Do or Die three out of five stars and said the album was " an interesting mix of hardcore punk and traditional Irish influences ." Punknews.org said "Powered by the enraged voice of Mike McColgan and the unforgettable grater Ken Casey is " Do or Die " a collection of some of the best Oi! / Street / punk rock songs ever recorded ."

In other media

In the pilot episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is a do or to see the poster on the bedroom wall of John Connors. In the credits of the song Barroom Hero Restrepo is heard, and can be found in the video game Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX track of the Never Alone.
