Doce de Octubre Department

The department Doce de Octubre located in the southwest of the province of Chaco in the north- western Argentina and is one of 25 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered to the north by the Department of Chacabuco, on the east by the department of Mayor Luis Jorge Fontana, on the south by the Departamento Fray Justo Santa María de Oro and to the west by the province of Santiago del Estero.

The capital of the department Doce de Octubre is General Pinedo. It is 250 kilometers from the provincial capital Resistencia and 1060 km from Buenos Aires.
