Docuverse

As Docuverse Ted Nelson called the universal electronic library that is to be built through a hypertext such as Xanadu; the numerous documents are stored while distributed, but connected to each other so that a metadocument is formed:

He sees himself as well as the Xanadu project as a " Literary Machines"; the Docuverse paradigm has not been implemented in Xanadu, but - with some functional drawbacks - the World Wide Web, which is the counterpart to the print paradigm in many aspects.
