Dodë Gjergji
Dode Gjergji ( born January 16, 1963 in Stublla in Viti in SFRY) is a Roman Catholic bishop and apostolic administrator of Prizren, Kosovo.
Life
Gjergji was born the son of Pashk and Anna Gjergji in Stublla. 1970 to 1972 he attended the first two years of primary school in Stublla, from 1972 to 1978 the school in Bibaj / Ferizaj. 1978 to 1982 he attended the State and General educational school Paulinium in Subotica. In Zagreb he studied philosophy and theology 1982 until 1988.
In Zym a small village, which lies between Prizren and Đakovica Dode Gjergji was ordained by Bishop Nike Prela August 15, 1989 to the priest; he belonged to the diocese of Skopje - Prizren. His first Mass he celebrated in the Roman Catholic Church in Uroševac. After his ordination to the priesthood, he was appointed by Bishop Prela to his secretary. Gjergji developed in his time as a priest of the Diocese of Skopje - Prizren liturgical texts and also worked in the Roman Catholic publishing Drita in Kosovo.
Am. February 5, 2000 Gjergji was (Albania) appointed Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Sapa, on 23 November 2005 as Bishop of Sapa. The episcopal ordination took place on 5 January 2006. In Sapa he was followed in December 2006 Lucjan Avgustini as bishop and after Gjergj was Apostolic Administrator of Prizren.
