The Dodge 500 was a heavy truck, which was introduced in 1964 and built in the UK by Dodge.
History and Development
The Dodge 500 was very popular in the UK and was also exported. In some cases he was wearing logos of DeSoto and Fargo. The trucks were sold as cab chassis and the customer then took care of the bodies, trailers etc.
The Dodge 500 was developed in the early 1960s; the design came from Ghia, the development of the mechanical components of the Rootes Group in Kew.
