Dodge Kahuna

The Dodge Kahuna is a concept vehicle of the U.S. automobile manufacturer Dodge, which was introduced in 2003 together with the Dodge Avenger Concept at the Detroit Auto Show.

The car was designed specifically for sports surfer and therefore also has six seats in three rows of seats, which are variable usable. Two rows of seats can be transformed in a few steps into full-fledged tables. In addition, the car has a " Stow ' N Go " said loading space which extends beneath the seats. The exterior of the car falls on mainly by its existing birdseye maple side planks of wood, the roof is made of a silver-gray tarp that can fold back accordion-like fashion from the B - pillar to the rear bumper. All side windows are frameless and retract completely into the doors. The vehicle also has 22 inch wheels, which are significantly larger than other vehicles in this class.

Under the hood of the front-wheel -driven Kahunas a 2.4 -liter turbo engine is operating at 160 kW ( 218 hp ), which yields its power with the help of a 4- speed automatic transmission on the road.
